Kruti Dajee, MD

“It is a great honor to be able to restore sight and make a meaningful difference in a patient’s life. I am humbled and motivated by each patient that entrusts their vision in my hands. My patients can count on me medically and surgically and I take that trust with great responsibility”

Kruti Dajee, MD

Growing up in the greater Dallas area and completing medical and sub-specialty training in the metroplex, Dr. Dajee always envisioned herself as a true community physician and yearned to give back to the community she grew up in. She grew up in Plano, Texas and graduated as a President’s Scholar from Southern Methodist University Summa Cum Laude.

After completing medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she enjoyed being class president for four years and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, she began her post-doctoral training with an internship in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and then completed her residency in Ophthalmology at University of Texas Southwestern.

During her time in Ophthalmology residency, she served on the Chief Resident Council and, during her second year, won a research award. Dr. Dajee completed her surgical retina fellowship at UT Southwestern as well, where she led the retina service at the two largest county hospitals in the metroplex.
